History of the Firm

Jerner Law Group, P.C. was founded as Jerner & Palmer, P.C. in 2003. Our goal was – and remains – to meet the need for quality legal representation with a particular focus on, and experience with, legal issues facing the LGBTQ+ community.

Our firm and our attorneys have been recognized as leaders in our field. In 2015, the firm was awarded a prestigious LGBT Community Leadership Award by the Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center for its work on same-sex marriage equality in Pennsylvania. The firm has also been named a Top 25 LGBT-owned business in Philadelphia by the Philadelphia Business Journal. Working with Our Firm

All cases begin with a consultation appointment. Consultations may be scheduled by phone or by video conference. Please call to make an appointment. Our staff will help you determine what documents to bring with you to your appointment.

Parking

Our office offers free on-site parking.

Attorney Fees

Jerner Law Group, P.C. charges both flat fees and hourly fees for services, depending upon the type of case. Fees will vary depending on the complexity of the case. We put all fee agreements in writing and representation does not begin until a fee agreement is signed by both the client and one of our attorneys and until the appropriate fee or retainer is paid.

Payment

We accept cash, checks, bank wire transfers, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Payments may be made over the phone with a credit card by calling 215-843-6000.

Our office is located in a historic nineteenth century gate house designed by the Philadelphia architect Frank Furness. The office is 15 minutes from Center City and is located on Wissahickon Avenue between Coulter Street and School House Lane in Northwest Philadelphia.
